This cup is a great size for coffee lovers, adorned with ghosts. This unique stoneware coffee mug is just at the right size for your evening herbal tea. Perfect to get you ready for the Halloween season. This could be used as a planter or pencil holder as well!
DETAILS:
It holds approximately 12 fluid ounces.
Measures: 4" tall x 3.5" opening
CARE:
This mug is food, microwave, oven, and dishwasher safe.
Although, with the nature of it being a handmade item washing by hand is recommended.
PROCESS:
Each mug is individually handmade with a white stoneware clay thrown on my potters' wheel. Then a handle is made individually for each mug. I then add the surface decoration with underglaze. After drying, it goes through its first kiln firing. After cooling, I unload the kiln and add a coat of glaze. I have a variety of glazes and at this step of the process, I decide what color I want it to be. The final step is to load each piece back into the kiln that will then reaches up to approx. 2200 degrees (F)!
